Family can be one of your support 
Advice is close at hand 
Help you get over a troule 
Take care of you when you have a health problem 
Get a lot of financial help 
Sharing economic responsibilities 
Share electrcity bill, living expenses 
Reduce the familys money strain 
But something always cut two ways there are a lot of problems if you live in an extended family 
Alot of argument 
Disadvantages 
Lack of privacy and personal 
different tastes in food,movies and other things 
conflicts between different generations 
disagreements about how to bring up chidren 
l ess privacy ; in most cases they to share a room,so privacy is rather scarce in large families 
l ess free time ; due to so many members, leisure time may be non-existent 
being bothered by family members
