- Revise what they have learned in unit 2

- Do a small project in which they can develop their speaking skills

2. Skills:

- Develop skills to do tests

- Help sts develop the skill of working in pairs and groups

3. Attitude:

 - Serious, positive, proactive, independent to take part in group activities.

 - Showing passion & excitement in studying

 - Cultivate morality, love people, and love their homeland

4. Competence:

- Self-study ability

- Problem-solving ability

- Presentation capacity and reporting

II. MATERIAL NEEDED

1. Teacher: Textbook, lesson plan, cassette player, disc.

2. Students: Students’ books, learning tools, drafting paper and/or extra board, marker

III. PROCEDURE:

1. Warmup: (2m)

Goal: Lead in the lesson

Tasks: Teacher inform sts about the lesson’s objectives

Method: Work with the whole class

ACTIVITY 1: Finding out the contracted form (9 m)
Aim: Sts review about contracted form
Method: Work individually and then in pairs
 - Ask sts to review the pronunciation rules for contracted and full forms. 
- Ask sts underline the words which could be contracted in the exchange and then work with the partner to compare their answers.
- Call on some sts to give their answers
- Play the recording and let sts check their answers.
- Feedback
