I. OBJECTIVE:

III. PROCEDURE: 
1. Warmup: (3m)
Goal: Lead in the lesson
Tasks: Ask and answer the question

 Wat Phra Thad Doi Suthep, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha. (in Thailand)
- Lead into the lesson: On a clear day the panoramic views of the city from the temple ground are truly spectacular! Located a further 18 Kilometers from Wat Doi Suthep into the mountains of Doi Suthep Pui National Park, is a White Meo Hilltribe, a relatively unspoiled hilltribe village where you can see their simple way of life.

Methods: Work in pairs
 Your report about your visit to Doi Suthep Pui National Park
- Asks Ss to work in groups of 4, and give each group a large size sheet of paper
- Have Ss read the text in their book and study the outline. 
Asks Ss to discuss in groups and complete the outline on the sheet of paper.
- Encourages Ss to move around to look at the outlines of other groups.
- Asks leaders of some groups to present their outlines to the rest of the class.
- Work in groups of 4, and give each group a large size sheet of paper

ACTIVITY 3:(14m) Write a brochure about an ASEAN member states
Aims: Ss get some information to writing
Methods: Work in groups
- Have Ss work in groups of three or four to choose one problem and discuss what solutions they will recommend.
- Encourages Ss to make complete sentences, using the suggestions in the table. Asks Ss to read their group’s sentences.
- Provides help by correcting mistakes in grammar or word choice.
- Asks Ss to work independently and write their articles.
- Work in groups of three or four to write the brochure.

Suggested writing:
 . Our brochure is about Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a Buddhist temple (wat) in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The temple is often referred to as "Doi Suthep" although this is actually the name of the mountain where it's located. It is a sacred site to many Thai people. The temple is 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) from the city of Chiang Mai and situated at an elevation of 1,073 meters. From the temple, impressive views of downtown Chiang Mai can be seen.. The tour leaves Son La City at 6 a.m. and gets back at 6 p. m after a week. The tour doesn’t cost too much: only 15.000,000 VND per person. During this one-week trip, visitors can climb 309 steps to reach the pagodas or take a tram. Once inside the temple grounds visitors must be appropriately dressed and must remove footwear. The original gold plated chedi is the most holy area of the temple grounds. Within the site are pagodas, statues, bells, a museum, and shrines. Aspects of the wat draw from both Buddhism and Hinduism. There is a model of the Emerald Buddha and a statue of the Hindu God Ganesh. Views of Chiang Mai can be seen on the far side of the temple.
