I. OBJECTIVE:

1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Get more knowledge about helping people with disabilities

2. Skills:

- Develop presentation skills

- Help Ss develop the skill of working in groups

3. Attitude:

 - Have responsible attitude towards helping people with disabilities

 - Serious, positive, proactive, independent to take part in group activities.

 - Showing passion & excitement in studying

 - Cultivate morality, love people, and love their homeland

4. Competence:

- Self-study ability

- Problem-solving ability

- Presentation capacity and reporting

II. MATERIAL NEEDED

1. Teacher: Textbook, lesson plan, cassette player, disc.

2. Students: Students’ books, learning tools, drafting paper and/or extra board, marker

III. PROCEDURE:

1. Warmup: (2m)

Goal: Lead in the lesson

Tasks: Teacher inform Ss about the lesson’s objectives

Method: Work with the whole class

- Lead into the lesson

PERIOD 38: 
HELPING STUDENTS IN NEED (TNST)
I. OBJECTIVE:
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 
- Get more knowledge about helping people with disabilities
2. Skills:
- Develop presentation skills
- Help Ss develop the skill of working in groups 
3. Attitude: 
 - Have responsible attitude towards helping people with disabilities
	- Serious, positive, proactive, independent to take part in group activities.
	- Showing passion & excitement in studying
	- Cultivate morality, love people, and love their homeland
4. Competence: 
- Self-study ability
- Problem-solving ability
- Presentation capacity and reporting
II. MATERIAL NEEDED

2. Students: Students’ books, learning tools, drafting paper and/or extra board, marker
III. PROCEDURE: 
1. Warmup: (2m)
Goal: Lead in the lesson
Tasks: Teacher inform Ss about the lesson’s objectives
Method: Work with the whole class 
- Lead into the lesson
2. Contents:

ACTIVITY 1: Do at home before the lesson
Aim: Ss know how to search information and how to prepare a presentation.
Method: Work in groups
 - Divide class into 4 big groups.
- Ask Ss to prepare a presentation with the topic “Your group is going to take part in a local charity by donating warm clothes for children in remote villages in mountainous areas. Prepare your groups’ story with the illustrations by pictures or drawing are shown on a0 paper
- Ask Ss to indicate their product with both images and content.
- Guide Ss to find information in some book about environment or they can search on the internet (note down the sources)
- Take notes some important guiding from the teacher.
- Assign specifics task for each member in group to make the story
- Present the product in a creative and scientific way on A0 paper.
- Prepare a presentation carefully and practice it fluently at home before.
ACTIVITY 2: Telling your group’s story (25m)
Aims: Ss become more confident to present in front of a crowd.
Methods: Work in groups
- Call on each group one by one to hang out their product on board and send a representative to talk in front of the whole class. Each groups has 5 minutes
- Hang out the product (the result of the campaign) on the board and present it.
ACTIVITY 3: Discuss and feedback
 (10m)
Aims: Ss check their mistakes they have made in the presentation.
Methods: Work with the whole class
- Ask Ss discuss about the 4 story to give comments and then check some common mistakes
- Feedback
- Discuss and give comments
- Check and take notes
- Give a lesson from specific action: Have responsible attitude towards helping people with disabilities.
3. Summary and guiding Ss to study
a. Summary (4m)
- Ask Ss to summarize the knowledge they have learn after the lesson.
	- List some main points from Ss’ products and then give conclusion.
	- Give comment about Ss’ learning spirit and attitude, some problems that need to be learn.
	b. Guiding Ss to study: (2m)
	- Give Ss some more source of information
	- Ask Ss to find out more information to broaden their general knowledge.
4. Evaluations the performance results (2m)
	- Ss should help people with disabilities and propose solutions to problems facing people with disabilities	
- Promoting Ss’ spirit and attitude in learning.
	- Developing Ss’ skills to search and synthesize information and presentation skills.
