1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Revise what they have learned in unit 4

- Do a small project in which they can develop their speaking skills

2. Skills:

- Develop skills to do tests

- Help Ss develop the skill of working in pairs and groups

3. Attitude:

 - Serious, positive, proactive, independent to take part in group activities.

 - Showing passion & excitement in studying

 - Cultivate morality, love people, and love their homeland

4. Competence:

- Self-study ability

- Problem-solving ability

- Presentation capacity and reporting

II. MATERIAL NEEDED

1. Teacher: Textbook, lesson plan, cassette player, disc.

2. Students: Students’ books, learning tools, drafting paper and/or extra board, marker

III. PROCEDURE:

1. Warmup: (2m)

Goal: Lead in the lesson

Tasks: Teacher inform Ss about the lesson’s objectives

Method: Work with the whole class

I. OBJECTIVE:
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

PRONUNCIATION
ACTIVITY 1: Underline the syllables with elision of weak vowels in the words in bold. (5 m)
Aim: Ss review about the syllables with elision of weak vowels
Method: Work individually and then in pairs
 - Ask Ss to review the pronunciation rules for contracted and full forms. 
- Ask Ss to review what elision of vowels is and when this happens.
Play the recording and let Ss listen and underline the syllables with elision of weak vowels in the words in bold.
- Call on some Ss to give their answers
- Play the recording and let Ss check their answers.
- Feedback
ACTIVITY 2: (4m) Play the recording
- Ask Ss to identify the sentences containing words read with elision of weak vowels.
- Feedback
- Review the pronunciation rules for the syllables with elision of weak vowels. 
- Do the task individually and then compare with a partner
- Give the answers.

Aims: Sts review some words related to the topic
Methods: Work individually
- Explain the activity aims to review the key vocabulary in the unit, and have Ss do it individually.
- Remind Ss to put the words into the correct form according to its position in the sentences.
- Check answers as a class by asking individual Ss to read their sentences.
- Provide the correct answers.
- Do as appointed.
- Give the answers.

- Check and take notes.

Aims: Ss review to make sentences with correct form of verbs.

- Have Ss work in pairs to work out the answers. 
- Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary.
- Check Ss’ answers by asking individuals to take turns reading aloud their answers.
ACTIVITY 2: Complete the sentences with the verbs in the box.(10 m)
- Have Ss to tell the teacher again about the difference between usages of the past simple and the present perfect
